Boating Weds

Every Wed for the past month and a bit I have been going out with the fam to Utah lake and as most I have been spending the last month trying to learn how to wakeboard. I had not been able to land a 360 properly so I decided one time out to try and flip. I had no idea what I was doing or how I was going to accomplish it. So out of nowhere I just went for it with nobody realizing what I was doing. Mel was pretty much the only one that saw me try it the first time and I still remember hearing her all shocked and telling me to do it again. I tried 3 times and totally wasted my face even shaving a piece of my tooth off from impact. So much for trying to frontflip.. I will upload those videos soon. Now we fast forward to a couple weeks ago. It was the first time I got around just enough to realize how much landing on your chest hurts at 20 miles an hour.. I figured out what I needed to do but was too tired to try. Last week I had it twice but just wasn't making it far enough over the wake and one I landed it but couldnt ride through the landing.

So yesterday I went to the lake it was a very nice day and we spent a bunch of time at the beach digging holes making walls. Keyan and I had a big mudball fight with Landon very amusing as well as racing around and doing handstand competitions. After we had Keyan take a really long run wakeboarding after convincing him to do it. Did a great job as it looks like he's getting more confident and bold.. speaking of which Mel almost jumped the whole wake tho it scared her. Jason kept trying to land a 180 over the wake. I couldnt do it either.. but I did finally land a a backflip after a couple tries I did it and you can see it. I was soo happy finally to land it as you can tell in my video :D I landed a 2nd one as you can see in the 2nd video but I didnt stay up.. the board kinda slipped from under me oh well.. I just now need to learn how to go goofy and jump frontside. Maybe next week
