its a win

Couple of things to say for this week.. With having no job still few I have to follow up on but nothing very solid yet. Softball game was quite an interesting game. I didn't do much most the game. It seemed that I wasnt even needed for the most part as there was 1 ball hit out to me in the outfield. I wasn't even hitting well. I got out on the first one popped up and the 2nd one I got to first. What was good was what happen on my last at bat. I was able to bring in 2 on a triple. The bat was finally there. I got a big hit finally got one almost to the fence. That was a good softball game as I got hit home that was the deciding factor as we were able to hold them off and win by 1. Most of the week I just kinda bummed around chilled with some friends and watched alot of the olympics... I had more to say but I can't remember exactly what it was.

This is a small video that I found of my trying to do a 180 on a snowboard.. I think this was taken the 2006-07 winter season first year of me trying it out.

also this one is a funny one we went out to IHOP for food can't remember why and they started doing the cooper train. Thought it was funny so its here.

The Dust Game

So last night had such a beautiful night for a softball night. clear skies weather was just right then when 7:30 rolled around 30 mnutes before the softball game it got really windy. Yeah it became the dust game.. I didn't bring my camera to show you how bad it was. If anyone moved in the infield dust went flying into the dugout and homeplate. It was so dirty and grimy but we pulled off a HUGE victory. kinda felt bad for the pitcher. I didn't see the final score but we won like 25 to 5 or something like that.. I know it was like 22 to 3 or 1 at one point but yeah I ate alot of sand and had alot of fun in the dust. It was cool to have everyone there to watch us play as well and goto Artic Circle to celebrate the win haha.

On a 2nd note.. Watching Phelps win by 1 one-hundredth of a second in the FLY was AMAZING! I can't believe he pulled it off. I really thought he would have been a bit more ahead after watching the prelims. So he's gonna break the 7 golds in the relay.

Za Orympiks

Well theres been almost a weeks worth of Olympics and who's everyones hero?? Phelps is Americas hero.. everyone loves him.. Anyone that can race in a final and break a world record is past a phenom.. Sitting around watching him race is really a sight to see. I really think he has a really good chance of winning the 8 golds he's set out for. The 100m Fly was the one I worried about with him but after seeing him race the semi's I think he has it set.

Having The Gymnists do as good as they did.. not to mention gold and silver for the girls.. totally sweet!! even Sabre girls cudos to you sweep the 3 then get bronze.. Overall this has been a great Games.. I can't wait for Track and Field.. That is going to be awesome to watch. I still vote for them to put in Wakeboarding in the Olympics if they are taking out baseball and softball.. might as well put in Wakeboarding haha.

GO USA GO GO GO!!!! <------ Thats me cheering

Boating Weds

Every Wed for the past month and a bit I have been going out with the fam to Utah lake and as most I have been spending the last month trying to learn how to wakeboard. I had not been able to land a 360 properly so I decided one time out to try and flip. I had no idea what I was doing or how I was going to accomplish it. So out of nowhere I just went for it with nobody realizing what I was doing. Mel was pretty much the only one that saw me try it the first time and I still remember hearing her all shocked and telling me to do it again. I tried 3 times and totally wasted my face even shaving a piece of my tooth off from impact. So much for trying to frontflip.. I will upload those videos soon. Now we fast forward to a couple weeks ago. It was the first time I got around just enough to realize how much landing on your chest hurts at 20 miles an hour.. I figured out what I needed to do but was too tired to try. Last week I had it twice but just wasn't making it far enough over the wake and one I landed it but couldnt ride through the landing.

So yesterday I went to the lake it was a very nice day and we spent a bunch of time at the beach digging holes making walls. Keyan and I had a big mudball fight with Landon very amusing as well as racing around and doing handstand competitions. After we had Keyan take a really long run wakeboarding after convincing him to do it. Did a great job as it looks like he's getting more confident and bold.. speaking of which Mel almost jumped the whole wake tho it scared her. Jason kept trying to land a 180 over the wake. I couldnt do it either.. but I did finally land a a backflip after a couple tries I did it and you can see it. I was soo happy finally to land it as you can tell in my video :D I landed a 2nd one as you can see in the 2nd video but I didnt stay up.. the board kinda slipped from under me oh well.. I just now need to learn how to go goofy and jump frontside. Maybe next week
