me VS black ice.... black ice won...

So as I have reluctantly kept up with writing anything on my blog I decided I have something that is worth writing about.

As few know I have totaled my car last Monday (during the random snow storm) up on the freeway just past 106th in Sandy. I hit some slush going about 40 that made my car hydroplane a little on black ice with then made my car to fishtail. Luckily I was not near any of the cars on the road but unluckily I slide with my backside fishtailing to the left from the middle lane through the fast lane just in time to have it slide just enough to the right as I passed through the HOV lane right into the concrete barrier head on. as you can see it smashed the front of my car pretty good and both airbags went off.. I actually hardly hit the airbag as I braced myself for collision. the cab of the car was not harmed in anyway. I was not injured other than the normal tense soreness in my muscles and a loud ringing in my ear from the airbags going off.. Here are the pictures





update: the car is worth $10,089 my deductable is $500 and I owe $4,800 so I will be getting something back. Luckily it was as well as it was. I didnt think I would get that much from it.
I now need to start looking for a new car. yey for me...

Sad for RSL

Watching RSL play in the Western Championship game after 4 years of watching almost all the RSL games either at the game or on TV.. those that follow them know that many you just have to listen to on the radio.

. They finally making it to the playoffs is so great to see but I will have to tell you. I have never in my life seen so many unlucky chances to win a game in my life.. New York did not win the game RSL lost it. 20 shots 7 on target 10 corners.. even had the ball like 56% of the time and yet they were unable to put any in. 4 times I believe they hit the post.

Argghhh how sad and disappointing. They had a wizard of a season. I hope they are able to focus the momentum into the next season with the home newly built Rio Tinto Stadium. It will be nice to hold its fifth season in there own home. I applaud them for making many friends proud!

Will American ever take the Front?

American... What does this have to do with race??
Have you ever filled out that application and when it came to what ethnicity you are.. You wondered.. What am I?? I always look for the other and put in I am American. Now you might ask why?? Well I look at the whole -American deal and when did American become the 2nd seat to all the rest of the world?
I am a MUTT, I am proud of what I am.. I am an American.. I don't consider myself European-American, or Filipino-American or anything of the sort. I was born in America which makes me an American despite where my family is from. All those that keep the racism alive and well in America should Stand up and fight for Equality. No longer are you an African-American, Mexican-American, Chinese-American ETC. ETC. This fuels all those to be singled out and identified to a previous memory. If you were born in America be AMERICAN!! I'm sorry but you couldnt be born in Africa and America or Japan and America. Take a look at your birth certificate, Its bound to tell you if you have forgotten!!
I reach out and declare that if more people take this attitude towards themselves as well asother the future will be a more unified place. People will be happier and life will be that much better

Who's sick of this Election???

I am!!

Well I am sick of it because they have no limit on what can be spent... I think the next time around, especially since the economy is not doing so well, they are limited to spend a certain amount of money and that campaigning should be cut down by a month atleast to limit this cost spending... It would really force them to be resourceful and show leadership that we are all desperately wanting. Making the show the qualities that Americans would like to see so we can determine if they are ready.
Seriously what has either party shown to us?? Nothing. Obama has done nothing.. McCain has done nothing. Atleast Palin went on SNL shows she has a sense of humor.. McCain was a War Hero. Biden.. nobody hears anything of him and Obama where did he goto and decide to change his name back. I would rather it be that way than this outrageous spending that these elections have been showing.
There needs to be regulations on cost of a campaign and make them actually work and prove to america atleast for that short period of time that they actually ARE ready.. When they say they are ready to lead and ready to be in the Whitehouse after showing me nothing PLEASE!!! that means any American is ready to be in there! Lets make them work for it Prove they have what it takes instead of lying to us all the time.

So #1 Regulate the spending cost of the Election Campaign. Make it so no party has an unfair advantage in cost spending..

#2 Make the campaign start later. This election proved that it has gone on so long. Every TV program has expressed how they all felt it has been too long.

#3 Make those running for the elections actually show they are able to lead by leading the campaign they are running. Being smart with the money they have been alotted. In an horrible economy like this what does it show for them if Obama is spending crazy amounts of money over all sorts of things and McCain is allowing the similar except not as deep pockets and oh dont forget how people got mad over the spending costs of Palin's wardrobe.

Just a quick thought on Prop 8 on marriage..

I just wanted to say a short note on what I felt on Prop 8 and how the media is displaying it..

Same sex marriage.. Some say its great some don't on the TV I have heard people wanting it to stay the way it is in Cali and let them keep on getting married. Well I say this is all garbage. They should change what they are really meaning by it. I feel that a Union should be what they are going for.
I think that the term "marriage" should not be used and they should take that out of what they are doing. I believe the term Marriage is a self sustaining family. And I dont know about you but the last I checked 2 woman or 2 men can not have a self sustaining family as they have no way of having a kid together. The way I see it only a man and a woman can do so without outside help.

In Cali I think that Marriage should be used in this term and that same sex should be changed to a Union or whatever term they would like to call it.. allow similar laws so when divorce comes around and they all move out of CA they can have the same all the legal portions similar with actual marriages.. Or just make all same sex marriages go back to Cali or wherever they allow to have anything done... marriage divorce whatever it is....
Atleast they need to fix it and be done with it
